Buckshot Farms is an equine performance program focused on quality, talent, and preparation. The horses bred or shown by Buckshot Farms exhibit these traits, in a variety of competition disciplines.
To date, the Arabians of Buckshot Farms have accumulated over 50 National Arabian titles, over half of which have been in the reining division. Recently, breeding stallion, TA Khalil, was selected as APAHA Working Western Horse of the Year.
The quarter horse program is developing, with proven mares as the foundation of the program such as Whizin Off Spooks (LTE $36,306) and Smart Voodoo Chic (LTE $12,126). Currently prospects are being trained and prepared by Andrea Fappani and Kari Klingenberg for the next generation of Buckshot horses in NRHA competition.
Buckshot Farms is a full service breeding and training facility, with complete breeding equipment and laboratory, as well as trained staff in stallion collection and artificial insemination.
Resident trainer, Silvio Domingues DaSilva, prepares and shows a quality string of Arabians for competition throughout the nation. Silvio primarily trains the horses owned by the Buckshot Farms. Outside training is available to a few select horses each year that fit Silvio’s schedule and program.
